Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Mazar-i-Sharif distributes monthly financial assistance to disadvantaged families

Dozens of Shia families in the Afghan city of Mazar-i-Sharif received, Tuesday, their monthly financial assistance from the office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husaini al-Shirazi.

The office said that the assistance is distributed monthly on the basis of the recommendations of the Supreme Religious Authority; as it included a large number of families of orphans in Mazar-i-Sharif.

The office explained that these initiatives and other humanitarian activities carried out by the Shirazi-affiliated centres in Afghanistan to assist poor families cope with the difficulties of living, due to the deteriorating economic situation.
