Shia activists in France protest genocide of Shia Muslims in Pakistan
Shia activists in France held a protest on Wednesday to draw attention to the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Pakistan and the plight of refugees in France.
The protest, which was held in the French city of Canberra, was organized by a group of Shia Muslim activists living in France.
The protesters carried banners and chanted slogans demanding an end to the genocide that Shia Muslims are subjected to in the Pakistani city of Parachinar.
The protesters also demanded that the rights of Muslim refugees in France be respected and that their rights be guaranteed.
Informed sources from Parachinar, west of the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, have previously revealed the escalation of acts of killing and assassination by banned terrorist groups on citizens, especially Shia activists and clerics.
The protest in Canberra is the latest in a series of protests that have been held around the world to draw attention to the plight of Shia Muslims in Pakistan.
