Karbala Seminary for Women discusses significant role of reason in evaluating laws
The Hafizatul Quran School, an educational institution affiliated with the Karbala Seminary for Women, held a symposium on the significant roles of reason in evaluating laws.
A number of virtuous women and students of the honorable seminar attended the symposium due to the importance of the session’s scientific topic.
The school’s administration told Shia Waves Agency “the information presented during the symposium was from the book ‘The Mind Sees These Laws’ by late Imam Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Hussaini Shirazi, may his soul be blessed).”
The administration explained that “the seminar discussed important topics, including the issue of Taqlid of the most knowledgeable, the division of inheritance, the issue of a male’s share equaling that of two females, as well as the issue of retaliation, punishments, and criminal laws.”
The school administration confirmed that “these topics are of utmost importance; we have observed great interaction from the researchers, who confirmed that Islamic laws are in complete harmony with what is ruled by reason.”
It is worth mentioning that the Karbala Seminary for Women is one of the active and unique scientific institutions in the holy city of Karbala, and is affiliated with Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi.
