Shia scholars in Pakistan say new curriculum contains anti-Shia inflammatory contents…………….

A group of Shia religious scholars in Pakistan rejected the new national curriculum, which they say contains false information about Shia Islam.

The scholars say that the curriculum is inflammatory and does not represent the true teachings of Shia Islam.

Local media outlets reported that “Shia scholars demanded the establishment of a unified Islamic curriculum that is acceptable to all religious sects, as well as sending a message to the President, Prime Minister, and governors regarding the proposed curriculum and their confirmation on the inclusion of the curriculum of the thoughts and teachings of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.”

The reports added that “the scholars considered this curriculum to be controversial and does not carry any national or religious character, due to the exclusion of the true concepts of the Shia sect and the fabrication of lies against.”
