Prominent devotee of Aba Abdillah dies in India after long-lasting illness

Raja MahmoodAbad Amir Mohammad Khan, one of the most famous Shia personalities in India, passed away on Tuesday night, October 3, after struggling with illness for a long time.

Mr. Amir Mohammad Khan possessed a high command in Arabic, Persian and English literature.

He was considered one of the most prominent dirge reciters of Honorable Aba Abdullah al-Hussein (peace be upon him) in India

Raja MahmoodAbad was one of the wealthy Shiites of Indian descent, who oversaw many endowed properties from Imam Hussain’s endowments in India, Pakistan, Iraq and Iran.

It is worth mentioning that the Late Amir Mohammad Khan was a member of the House of Representatives of Mahmudabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, from 1985 to 1989.
