Shia community in the Netherlands celebrate blessed birth of Prophet Muhammad, Imam Al-Sadiq

The Shia community in Utrecht, a city in the Netherlands, have celebrated the blessed birth anniversaries of the Honorable Prophet and his grandson Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq, peace be upon them.

Large numbers of Iraqis, who fled the dictatorial regime in the country in the 1980s and 1990s, held celebrations to honor these two important occasions.

The officials of the Utrecht Cultural Center said that “the loyal followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, participated in large numbers in the ceremonies the center organization on the occasion of birth anniversary of the Honorable Prophet, and his grandson Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq, peace be upon them.”

It should be mentioned that the holy shrines, in Iraq, Syria and Iran, have been decorated with banners of happiness and joy to celebrate this joyful occasion which is widely marked by Muslims all over the world
