Global film “The Lady of Heaven” continues to dominate most prominent historical films

The prominent film “The Lady of Heaven” which depicts the life and biography of Sayy Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, has been at the top of historical films since its production in 2021, according to the Internet Movie Database (IMDB).

According to Shia Waves Agency, the film, which was produced in Britain and screened in several cinemas around the world, received 14,374 votes, surpassing dozens of historical films produced in different time periods.

The film, directed by renowned director Eli King, is one of the most prominent films that has captured the attention of viewers around the world, as well as critics and those interested in cinema.

Despite the counter-campaign launched against it and the demands to ban its screening, several cinemas in the United Kingdom, the United States, and other European and foreign countries screened the film, receiving significant attention even from non-Muslims.

The film tells aspects of the life of the Prophet’s daughter, Sayyeda Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon them, during her father’s life and with her husband, Imam Ali, peace be upon him, as well as the injustice and aggression she faced when her house was attacked by those who opposed the divine authority.

The film also presents a historical and objective approach in its first scenes between the bloody approach of ISIS, which occupied several Iraqi provinces and committed heinous crimes against humanity, and the first terrorist incident in Islam, which is considered the roots of this criminal organization.
