Imam Hussein Holy Shrine installs “Fog Cannons” to reduce temperature around holy haram

The Division of Cooling and Air-conditioning at the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has introduced new techniques to reduce temperature around the holy shrine during the Arba’een Pilgrimage.

The official of the division, Safaa Ali, said in a statement received by Shia Waves Agency that “Fog Cannons have been installed which reduced temperature by 9 degrees in the area around the holy shrine.”

Ali added that “For the first time, these fog cannons have been used to reduce high temperatures by 9 degrees,” pointing out that “12 cannons have been installed in a number of streets near the holy shrine.”

It should be mentioned that millions of pilgrims continue to march towards the holy shrine of the Master of Martyrs, peace be upon him, to commemorate the Arbaeen Pilgrimage on 20th of Holy Safar.
