NYC Allows Unpermitted Muslim Call to Prayer Broadcast

NowThisNews reported this week that New York City has removed the need for permits to broadcast the Muslim call to prayer, or adhan, from mosques.

 Mayor Eric Adams stated that the move aims to foster unity and understanding, allowing the adhan to be amplified on Fridays and during Ramadan evenings, up to 10 decibels over ambient sound levels.
