258 attacks against Muslims in Germany registered during first half of 2023, Ministry says

The German Ministry of Interior reports that more than 250 attacks against Muslims have been registered in this country during the first six months of this year.

This Government body confirmed this figure in a report which came in response to the inquiry of the leftist opposition party, stating that the number of crimes and attacks against Muslims in this country has increased in the first half of 2023.

According to the data of this ministry, the cases included hate crimes, threat letters, verbal and physical assault, and destruction or damage to Muslims’ properties.
