Holy Karbala-based Allama al-Karaki Hawza begins its religious missionary campaign in Basra
The Allama al-Karaki Hawza, one of the scientific centers affiliated to Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Holy Karbala, has begun its religious missionary campaign of the Holy Arba’een in Basra, Iraq.
The administration of the honorable Hawza said in a statement to Shia Waves Agency that, “A delegation of scholars went to Basra, where the massive Arba’een Pilgrimage started, to carry out its religious activities.”
It added that, “This year, the Hawza has established what is known as the “Moving Missionary Campaign”, which means that a number of religious scholars will be accompanying the pilgrims along their way to Holy Karbala.”
The administration continued that, “The delegation visited a number of Mawakibs and Husseini centers and met religious and official figures and journalists to discuss the importance of this massive event.”
It concluded that, “The delegation conveyed to the honorable pilgrims the greetings and du’a of his Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid, and his emphasis on the importance of commemorating the cause of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.”
