Saudi minister: 1.6 million pilgrims participated Hajj from other countries

The number of pilgrims this year reached 1,845,450, said Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah in a statement.

The pilgrims participated Hajj this year from 150 countries, Tawfiq al-Rabi’ah added.

The Saudi Statistical Organization had previously announced that the number of pilgrims from Arab countries is 346,214 people, pilgrims from Asian countries are 1 million 56 thousand 317 people, and pilgrims from African countries except Arab countries are 221 thousand 863 people.

The announcement notes that 36 thousand 521 people participated in this religious ritual from European countries, America, Australia and other countries.
