Millions of Shia Muslims celebrate Arafa Day at Imam Hussein Holy Shrine

Millions of Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, celebrated the day of Arafa, today, Wednesday, at the holy shrines of Imam Hussain and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas, peace be upon them, in the holy city of Karbala.

From the early hours of the morning, pilgrims flocked to the holy city, to commemorate the special pilgrimage of Arafa at the two holy shrines.

The city’s streets and alleys were filled with pilgrims, as the two holy shrines intensified their efforts to receive the millions of pilgrims and provide the best services to them, in addition to implementing security plans.

In addition, the Iraqi border crossings announced the passage of large crowds of Iranian pilgrims to participate in the revival of the Arafa Pilgrimage ceremonies and the blessed Eid al-Adha at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, in Karbala.
