The International Organization for Nonviolence “FreeMuslim” has called for greater reliance on peaceful dialogue and the protection of civilians, warning that violence and armed conflicts only deepen crises and increase human suffering.

In a statement marking the International Day of Nonviolence, the organization urged governments, international bodies and conflicting parties worldwide to pursue dialogue, negotiation and peaceful solutions instead of military confrontation.

The Organization said disputes should be addressed through constructive dialogue, wisdom and respect, emphasizing the importance of justice, human dignity and the protection of human rights.

The organization also called for an end to wars that continue to affect civilians, particularly women, children and vulnerable groups, stressing the need to ensure humanitarian aid reaches those in need without obstacles.

It urged international communities to promote values of tolerance, coexistence and nonviolence while confronting hate speech and extremism that contribute to escalating conflicts.

The organization reaffirmed its commitment to supporting peaceful initiatives and cultural and human rights efforts aimed at strengthening a global culture of nonviolence and cooperation.
