Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Calls for Promoting Ahl al-Bayt Teachings, Moral Development of Religious Students

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi has emphasized the importance of spreading the teachings and culture of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and strengthening ethical education among students of religious sciences.

The remarks were made during a meeting in the holy city of Qom with a delegation from the Sharif al-Radhi Seminary in Kadhimiya, Iraq. The delegation presented a report on the seminary’s educational and outreach activities and discussed issues related to religious and scholarly work.

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi highlighted the responsibility of seminaries and religious institutions in conveying Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) teachings to society, stressing that academic learning should be accompanied by moral refinement, self-discipline, and character development.

He also underlined the role of religious seminaries in preparing scholars and preachers who combine knowledge with the ethical values reflected in the life of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

The meeting was held within the framework of continued communication between religious institutions and the Supreme Marja, with a focus on supporting educational, scholarly, and outreach efforts.
