The United States is reportedly moving forward with a multibillion-dollar weapons package for Israel that includes 60,000 highly destructive 2,000-pound (907kg) bombs, according to reports cited by Al Jazeera. The package, estimated at $2.8 billion, would largely be funded through the US Foreign Military Financing program.
