Washington to Host the 32nd Annual Conference of the Council on American-Islamic Relations in September
The American capital, Washington, will host the National Policy Conference and the 32nd Annual Session of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) on September 12, 2026. The conference will see the participation of several prominent figures, activists, and representatives of the Muslim community in the United States.
CAIR announced that the conference, known as “CAIRCON,” will address a range of issues related to the protection of democratic institutions and the enhancement of political participation by Muslims. Additionally, it will cover public policies, strategic planning, and the establishment of networking channels among activists and community leaders.
Abdullah Hammoud, the Mayor of Dearborn, Michigan, is scheduled to speak at the conference, which comes amidst growing interest in the role of American Muslims in public and political life. On the same evening, CAIR will hold its annual ceremony under the slogan “We the People: Saving Democracy and Building the Future,” featuring several speakers and guests from various U.S. states.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations is among the most prominent organizations dedicated to defending the civil rights of Muslims in the United States.
