Shia Scholars Council in Bangladesh Holds Monthly Meeting in Dhaka

The Shia Scholars Council in Bangladesh held its monthly meeting at its headquarters in the capital, Dhaka, in the presence of a number of scholars and officials, to discuss a range of religious, academic, and social issues concerning followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the country.
The meeting featured an exchange of views on several issues of concern to the Shia community in Bangladesh, as well as discussions on ways to develop religious and social activities and strengthen communication and coordination among scholars and Shia institutions.
The council also received Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Abu al-Qasim Razavi, head of the Shia Scholars Council in Australia, who visited the council’s headquarters and met with its members and officials.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the situation of Shia Muslims in Bangladesh and ways to enhance joint cooperation and exchange expertise between institutions and scholars in the two countries, contributing to the advancement of religious, cultural, and social activities.
The participants emphasized the importance of continuing such meetings and consultations on issues facing the Shia community, while working to expand areas of cooperation and coordination in support of followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and to strengthen the presence of their religious and social institutions in the country.
