In a statement, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi thanked the millions of believers who took part in the mourning ceremonies of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) during Ashura and the Arbaeen pilgrimage inside Iraq and around the world, commending their sincerity and devotion to Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) despite various challenges and circumstances.

He stated that the crowds who traveled to the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in Karbala, whether on foot or by other means, embodied the highest meanings of faith, loyalty, and commitment to the path of the Master of Martyrs, describing the Arbaeen marches as a great expression of adherence to the values and principles of the Husseini movement.

The religious authority also praised those who organized mourning processions and religious activities in different countries during Ashura and Arbaeen, saying that these gatherings reflect the global nature of the message of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and its growing presence among communities worldwide.

Ayatollah Shirazi highlighted the role of Arbaeen servants and volunteers, saying that those who provide services to pilgrims share in the great rewards granted by God. He described serving visitors to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) as one of the greatest acts of devotion because it reflects sacrifice, generosity, and selflessness.

Ayatollah Shirazi emphasized that the millions traveling to Karbala for Arbaeen demonstrate the enduring connection with the teachings of Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) and the continued presence of the message of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) across generations.

He added that he remembers all participants in his prayers and blessed moments, asking God to improve their affairs, fulfill their needs, and accept their deeds in the best manner. He also called on believers to continue preserving the Husseini rituals and holding firmly to the message of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), which calls for reform, justice, and human dignity.
