The Development and Training Department of the Misbah al-Hussein (peace be upon him) Cultural and Charitable Institute has announced the opening of registration for a free training course titled “Hussaini First Responder,” focusing on first aid and emergency medical response.

According to Shia Waves Agency, the intensive one-day workshop will be taught by nursing specialist Ibtehal al-Miyahi and aims to prepare participants to respond effectively to medical emergencies.

The course will be held on 19 July 2026 for four consecutive hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It will include practical training, simple and applicable medical guidance, and instruction on common emergency situations, designed specifically for non-specialists.

Organizers said the workshop focuses on real-life first aid skills that can help participants provide immediate assistance during everyday medical emergencies.
