Brazil Launches First Halal Business Management MBA in Latin America
———————————————————–
A new MBA program in Halal Business Management has been launched at Estácio University in São Paulo, Brazil, in response to growing demand for specialists in halal standards and trade.
The program, developed in partnership with the International Halal Academy, is described by its coordinator, Deldouk Martinez, as the first halal MBA in Latin America. It is designed to train professionals in the rules, operations and commercial strategies needed to serve Brazil’s expanding halal market.
The course runs for three semesters, or 18 months, and offers a diploma recognized by Brazil’s Ministry of Education. It is limited to 40 students to encourage direct interaction between participants and instructors.
The curriculum is divided into three main areas: international halal standards and regulations, operations and compliance, and Islamic commercial and financial strategies. Students will also have the opportunity to take part in an international program in Egypt, including academic courses and technical visits focused on halal logistics.
The MBA targets professionals working in production, logistics, marketing and related business sectors.
