The Italian biopharmaceutical company Kedrion Biopharma has warned that ongoing disruptions in shipping routes are affecting the supply of critical medicines, potentially making it more difficult to deliver plasma-derived therapies to patients.

According to Voice of America Persian, the company has been forced to reroute part of its pharmaceutical shipments to Iran via land transport, a move that has significantly increased logistical costs.
