The IEC Husaini School (IHS) brought the community together on Sunday, April 12, for its 30th Annual Imam Jafar as-Sadiq (A.S.) Islam & Science Fair, an event dedicated to highlighting Islamic principles and teachings in the context of the modern era.

The educational fair provided a dynamic platform for students—proudly referred to as young “Research Assistants”—to showcase their ingenuous artwork and presentations reflecting on the scientific legacy of the Holy Quran and teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Presentations covered a wide array of scientific disciplines, with diverse student projects exploring fields such as astronomy, biology, genetics, and chemistry.

Community members gathered at the school starting at 10:00 AM to support the youth and learn from their exhibits. The event emphasized the rich historical tradition of Islamic contributions to the sciences, inspiring the next generation to pursue knowledge in both their faith and their academic studies.

Organizers expressed their gratitude to the parents and community members who attended, noting that the fair continues to be a cornerstone event for fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and educational excellence within the community.
