Ramadan Food Basket Distribution Continues for Needy Families in Karbala
———————————
The distribution of Ramadan food baskets to needy families in the holy city of Karbala is continuing during the holy month of Ramadan, organized by the Misbah Al‑Hussein Cultural and Charitable Foundation.

The initiative aims to support low-income households and help meet their essential food needs during Ramadan. Each basket contains a selection of basic food items intended to assist families throughout the month.

According to reports, Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Mustafa Mohammadi, director of the Misbah Al‑Hussein Cultural and Charitable Foundation, visited the preparation site for the Ramadan basket distribution. During the visit, he reviewed the final stages of the project and emphasized the importance of proper packaging and an organized distribution process.

Organizers said that each food basket includes more than 12 high-quality food items, and the first phase of distribution is currently underway.

The baskets are being delivered directly to the homes of needy families with the assistance of trusted community representatives and local neighborhood leaders. In some cases, staff members from the foundation personally distribute the baskets to recipients.

The humanitarian initiative is carried out annually in cooperation with the Imam Hussein Charitable Foundation and the Imam Hussein Media Group.

Organizers say the program plays an important role in strengthening social solidarity and supporting families spiritually and materially during the holy month of Ramadan.
