Grand Ayatollah Shirazi: Divine Laws in Qur’an Apply to All Eras Until Day of Judgment

In his daily scholarly session on Saturday, 18th Sha’ban 1447 AH, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Hussaini Shirazi emphasized the timeless applicability of divine rulings revealed in the Qur’an.

Responding to questions from attendees on various jurisprudential matters, His Eminence stated that the laws and commandments communicated by the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure family) to the people are obligatory for all times, extending from the era of the Prophet to the Day of Judgment.

He explained that the implementation of these divine rulings is not limited to the companions of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) or any single historical period, but encompasses every generation of believers, including contemporary society.

“Whatever has been conveyed in the Holy Qur’an as Divine rulings, addressed to the people and to those who have faith, applies to all eras,” he stressed, highlighting the continuity of guidance and responsibility for all Muslims throughout history.
