International Allamah Naeini Conference Opens in Najaf with Launch of 40-Volume Encyclopedia

The International Conference on the renowned scholar Mirza Mohammad Hussein Naeini has officially begun in Najaf, Shia Waves Agency reported.

The event is being held in cooperation with the Imam Hussain Shrine (peace be upon him), the Imam Ali Shrine (peace be upon him), and a number of scholars and academic figures from the seminaries of Najaf and Qom.

The opening ceremony took place in the Grand Alawi Hall in Najaf, attended by seminary professors, researchers from inside and outside Iraq, and approximately 500 academic and religious figures.

One of the most significant achievements of the conference is the unveiling of a 40-volume encyclopedia dedicated to the works and legacy of Naeini, eight volumes of which were prepared with the cooperation of the Imam Hussain Association (peace be upon him).

The aim of the conference is to introduce the scholarly contributions of Allamah Mirza Mohammad Hassan Naeini and to highlight his role in training prominent students and reviving the intellectual heritage of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

Allamah Mirza Mohammad Hassan Naeini was a prominent Iranian Shi’a Marja’, jurist, and a leading political theoretician who is widely recognized as the primary theoretician of the compatibility between Shi’a Islam and modern constitutionalism.
