Dushanbe to Host Commonwealth of Independent States Interparliamentary Assembly

The Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) is set to convene in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, on November 13–14.

According to Anadolu Agency, parliamentary delegations from Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan will attend the meeting.

The assembly will focus on enhancing legislative cooperation, policy coordination, regional security, and interparliamentary relations, with the goal of strengthening political and economic integration among CIS member states.
