Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husayni al-Shirazi emphasized the crucial role of media in the Shia community during a meeting with Nasir Al-Shahmani, Director-General of the Shia Media Group and President of the Union of Shia Channels and Radio Stations.

The Supreme Marja stressed the need to develop and strengthen media platforms to effectively promote the teachings and culture of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) across diverse societies.

Al-Shahmani presented a detailed report on the group’s recent cultural, social, and media activities, highlighting efforts to expand Shia media presence regionally and internationally.

The discussion also focused on supporting ongoing media projects and broadening educational and cultural outreach, aiming to disseminate Ahl al-Bayt knowledge and values within Islamic communities worldwide.
