Senior Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi emphasized the importance of applying the Prophet Muhammad’s model in all aspects of life, saying it offers a pathway to the success of nations and the spread of Islam.

Speaking on Friday, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi highlighted the Prophet’s approach in Medina—covering governance, economics, and even warfare—as a framework that, if adopted by modern societies, could lead to flourishing states and stronger communities.

He argued that such an application would mirror the early Islamic era, when people embraced Islam in large numbers, as referenced in the Qur’anic verse: “And you see the people entering into the religion of Allah in multitudes.”

The cleric added that millions could be drawn to Islam today if individuals, institutions, and governments implement this prophetic methodology, underlining its enduring moral and social impact across history.
