Blood Donation Drive in Kandahar Held in Memory of Holy Prophet and Imam Reza

Marking the martyrdom anniversaries of the Holy Prophet and Imam al-Reza (peace be upon them both), a blood donation campaign was organized in the Gandagan area of Kandahar province.

According to Shia Waves Agency, the initiative drew wide participation from local believers, who came together to donate blood as an act of religious devotion and social solidarity.

Organizers stated that the purpose of the campaign was not only to assist patients in urgent need of blood but also to honor the memory and legacy of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

Participants emphasized that such humanitarian acts reflect the values of sacrifice and compassion deeply rooted in Islamic teachings, while also serving as a means to strengthen community bonds.
