The Ahlulbayt Association in Glasgow, Scotland, held a three-night program to commemorate Arbaeen, marking 40 days since the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him. The events drew a large turnout from the Arab and Muslim community, reflecting the deep spiritual and cultural ties participants maintain with the legacy of Karbala.

Organizers set aside dedicated facilities to ensure full participation from women. The program featured religious lectures highlighting the life and principles of Imam Hussein, recitations of the Arbaeen Ziyarat, and mourning gatherings honoring the sacrifices of the Prophet’s family.

In addition to religious activities, the program fostered social interaction, providing opportunities for community members to exchange condolences, strengthen connections, and conclude each night with congregational prayers in a spirit of reverence.

The gatherings ended with shared evening meals, reinforcing a sense of unity and fellowship. Organizers emphasized the association’s role in preserving Hussaini traditions and promoting values of sacrifice and justice among Muslims abroad.
