Over 3,600 People Convert to Islam in Dubai

According to a report from The Times of India, more than 3,600 people converted to Islam in Dubai during the first half of 2025. These conversions were facilitated through the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Islamic Culture, which operates under the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD).

In addition to the conversions, the center also enrolled over 1,300 students in various educational programs and held 47 awareness courses for more than 1,400 participants. The Centre’s Director, Jassim Al Khazraji, highlighted the institution’s mission to foster intercultural dialogue and present a tolerant image of Islam.

The article also notes that one of the Centre’s recent innovations is the “Sustainable Knowledge Room,” an immersive, technology-integrated space designed to make Islamic education more interactive and engaging for a diverse audience.
