Germany Faces Unprecedented Wave of Islamophobia and Attacks on Veiled Women

The Council of European Muslims has announced that Islamophobia in Germany has reached an alarming level, with veiled women being the primary victims, Shia Waves Persian reported.
According to a 2024 report by CLAIM, a German coalition against Islamophobia and hate speech targeting Muslims, more than 3,080 cases of threats and violence against Muslims have been recorded, marking a 60% increase.
Sheikh Taha Amer criticized the German government’s inability to protect minorities, emphasizing the existence of systemic discrimination against Muslims in education, employment, and social security.
