Kids among 23 killed, 70 injured in Gaza as Israeli army continues attacks on 2nd day of Eid Al-Adha

At least 23 Palestinians, including children, were killed and 70 injured as Israeli military operations continued in the Gaza Strip on the second day of Eid al-Adha, Anadolu Agency reported.

The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that eight people died in an Israeli airstrike on a home in Jabalia, northern Gaza. In Khan Younis, southern Gaza, Israeli strikes on displaced persons’ homes and tents killed 10 Palestinians, including children, according to local Al-Aqsa radio.

In Rafah, southern Gaza, four Palestinians were killed and approximately 70 injured near an aid distribution site, Wafa added. Another Palestinian was killed near an aid distribution site in the Netzarim Corridor area, central Gaza.

Witnesses reported that the Israeli army continued demolishing homes and buildings in Jabalia and eastern Gaza City.

This marks the fourth Eid since October 2023, when an Israeli military campaign began in Gaza, resulting in nearly 54,800 Palestinian deaths and severe humanitarian conditions in the enclave.
