Elon Musk’s xAI Launches Grok 3, Claims Superiority Over Rivals

Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, introduced its latest model, Grok 3, claiming it outperforms competitors such as OpenAI and China’s DeepSeek in key areas like math, science, and coding, Anadolu Agency reported.
During a live presentation, Musk highlighted that Grok 3 boasts over ten times the computing power of its predecessor and completed its pre-training in early January.

Named after a concept from Robert Heinlein’s science fiction, Grok 3 is described by Musk as the “smartest AI on Earth.” Alongside Grok 3, xAI also unveiled Deep Search, a next-generation search engine aimed at transforming online queries.
Grok 3 is available to premium subscribers of X and can also be accessed through a separate subscription for web and app versions. The launch comes as US companies strive to compete with Chinese developers, particularly following DeepSeek’s recent claims of being a cost-effective and powerful alternative in the AI landscape.
