During the processions held in this regard, prominent tribal leaders, officials, and representatives of various mourning groups were in attendance. The Fatimiyah Procession is part of an annual tradition in which participants make their way toward the shrine of Amir al-Mu’minin, peace be upon him.

The grand and unified procession this year, held to uphold the glory of Fatimiyah, took place under the auspices of Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Najafi, a prominent Shiite authority in Najaf, marking the second Fatimiyah observance, 75 days after the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet as per a narration.

Similar events have been held for many years in Qom, featuring the participation of Shiite authorities such as Grand Ayatollah Wahid Khorasani and the late Grand Ayatollah Mirza Javad Tabrizi during the third Fatimiyah observance, 95 days after the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet as per another narration.

In addition to Najaf, significant mourning processions were also organized in the holy city of Karbala and Souq al-Shuyukh in remembrance of the martyrdom of the Mistress of the Women of the World.
