Indian politician cites cause of Imam Hussein as lesson “not to compromise with injustice”

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee urged the people on Wednesday to follow the path of peace and prosperity as inspired by the movement of Imam al-Hussein, peace be upon him.

“Holy Muharram teaches not to compromise with injustice. Let us all move forward on the path of peace and prosperity,” Banerjee posted on her X account.

It should be mentioned that the Master of the Martyrs has been the source of inspiration for every soul seeking justice and freedom from oppression throughout history. Many prominent figures have admitted they were moved by his ultimate sacrifice for humanity, and that coming to know about his cause opened a new chapter in their lives.
