Niger-based Ahlulbayt Association announces membership in largest interfaith dialogue forum in Niger

In response to the recommendations of the Supreme Religious Authority His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, the Ahlulbayt Association in Niger announced its membership in the largest interfaith dialogue forum in the country, known as “Cdir Niger”.

This move aims at spreading the culture of peace and tolerance in accordance with the instructions of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.

The association’s president, Hujjat-ul-Islam Sheikh Hassan Ada, said in a statement to Shia Waves Agency: “The most important thing that the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has emphasized is the promotion of social relations, the call for peaceful coexistence, and the rejection of hatred; with the aim of spreading the culture of peace in human societies.”

Sheikh Ada continued that “based on these wise directives and in order to reject hatred and violence, the AhlulBayet Association, has joined the largest and most important forum in Niger, the interfaith dialogue forum “Cdir Niger”.”

Sheikh Ada considered this step to be important, especially in light of the fragmentation and the evil attempts to sow division between Muslims and followers of other faiths.
