7th International Arabic Book Fair in Istanbul
Istanbul’s seventh International Arabic Book Fair started on October 1st under the theme ‘An Unlimited World’, this year.
It featured more than 250 publishers from 29 countries. The fair also held more than 100 conferences, panels, literacy meetings, book signings, poetry recitals, concerts, exhibits, theatre performances, and art workshops.
The Istanbul International Arabic Book Fair is the largest cultural event that combines tradition and modernity, and it is the largest international Arabic book fair outside the Arab countries.
It is a non-profit exhibition that seeks to revive the Arabic language in Turkey and strengthen relations between Arab and Turkish brothers.
The Istanbul International Arabic Book Fair is an exhibition approved by the Arab Publishers Association, and by sending invitations to all Arabic and Turkish universities and schools that have a close relationship with the sciences and knowledge of the Arabic language, it is considered the largest Arab cultural event in Turkey.
Officials of Al-Zahra TV channels and the representatives of the Imam Hussein Media Group visited the exhibition in Istanbul.
Welcoming over a hundred thousand visitors this year, Istanbul’s International Arabic Book Fair aims to meet all kinds of book needs of the Arab community in Istanbul, whether tourists or immigrants, wholesale, or retail.
