Helicopter Crash at Turkish Hospital Claims Four Lives

A tragic accident occurred on Sunday when an ambulance helicopter crashed into the Mugla Training and Research Hospital, resulting in the deaths of four individuals on board, Arab News reported. The helicopter, which was taking off, collided with the hospital’s fourth floor before plummeting to the ground.

The victims included two pilots, a doctor, and a medical worker. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among those inside the hospital or on the ground. Local authorities, including Mugla’s regional governor Idris Akbiyik, confirmed that heavy fog was present at the time of the incident, and an investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.

Emergency teams and ambulances were deployed to the scene, where debris was scattered around the area. Footage captured from the site depicted the aftermath of the collision, highlighting the severity of the accident. The health ministry has expressed condolences to the families of the victims.
