Sudan: 44 Killed in Drone Strikes on Dalang, South Kordofan
………….
At least 44 people were killed and 41 civilians injured in drone strikes carried out by Rapid Support Forces in Dalang, South Kordofan, local media sources reported. The attacks targeted both military positions and civilian areas within the city. Casualties included both soldiers and civilians caught near the strike sites.
Dalang and nearby Kadugli have faced repeated drone attacks in recent months by the Rapid Support Forces and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement – North, led by Abdel Aziz al-Hilu, amid ongoing attempts to control the region. The escalation comes as humanitarian conditions worsen, with continued displacement, restricted access to aid, and closure of the main road linking Kadugli and Dalang, exacerbating civilian suffering.
