Spanish Football Club Welcomes New Defender with Quran Verses

According to a report by IQNA, the sporting director of the Spanish football club Real Valladolid, Victor Orta, welcomed the club’s new defender, Mohamed Jaouab, by reciting verses from the Holy Quran during a press conference.

Orta quoted verses 39 to 41 of Surah An-Najm, which state: “And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives. And that his effort is going to be seen. Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense.” Orta added that he hoped the reward would be Jaouab’s success with the team.

Jaouab, a Moroccan international, expressed his ambition and determination to contribute to the team’s progress, stating he chose Real Valladolid because of its rich history and ambitious nature.
