Death Toll of Journalists Killed in Gaza Rises to 148
The death toll of journalists killed by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip has risen to a staggering 148, the latest victim being Abdullah al-Najjar, Anadolu Agency reported today.
The bombardments have also claimed dozens of civilian lives, with three people killed and many injured in an airstrike on a house in the al-Nuseirat refugee camp, the source mentioned.
It noted that civilians were further killed and injured in an air attack on a family home in Gaza City and intense artillery fire around Jabaliya, Beit Lahiya, and the Kamal Adwan Hospital.
Despite a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire, Israel has continued its brutal offensive on Gaza. Since October, the conflict has claimed nearly 35,400 Palestinian lives, mostly women and children, with over 79,300 others injured.
