UN chief reiterates need for humanitarian aid throughout Gaza Strip

Antonio Guterres announced today the preconditions for providing effective humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip in his post on X (formerly known as Twitter).

The Secretary General of the United Nations stressed that “more security and equipment are needed” for provision of humanitarian aid in the conflict zone.

Guterres also emphasized that UN should have access to the north of Gaza and added: “I call for quick, safe, unhindered, widespread and sustainable access of humanitarian aid throughout the Gaza Strip.”
