Discrimination Against Muslim Women in Nigeria Highlighted at NASFAT Conference

Dr. Ganiyat Tijani-Adenle, a lecturer at Lagos State University, addressed the growing discrimination faced by Muslim women in Nigeria during her keynote speech at the 8th biennial women’s conference of NASFAT in Abeokuta, Punch online news reported yesterday.

She emphasized the marginalization of Muslim women in education, employment, and politics, particularly highlighting restrictions on wearing hijabs in various institutions.
