Young Nigerian Innovator Develops Drone to Deliver Medicine to Remote Areas
Jubrin Musa, a 25-year-old secondary school dropout from Kano, Nigeria, has created a remarkable innovation to address healthcare challenges in remote regions, Anadolu Agency reported yesterday.
Despite financial constraints that prevented him from pursuing higher education, Musa’s passion for technology led him to develop a fuel-powered drone capable of transporting medical supplies up to 10 kilometers.
Many communities in Nigeria’s impoverished northwest lack reliable road access, hindering their ability to receive essential medical aid.
Musa’s drone aims to bridge this gap, delivering drugs and supplies from urban hospitals to isolated rural areas as quickly as possible. Driven by a desire to save lives, the young inventor is now seeking sponsorship to further develop and scale his life-saving technology.
