A group of Shia scholars and clerics met with Robert Walter McElroy, the Cardinal and newly appointed Archbishop of Washington, to discuss ways to strengthen relations between Islam and Christianity.

According to the Shia Waves Agency, the meeting aimed to promote interfaith dialogue and deepen Muslim-Christian understanding.
