Hujjat-al-Islam-Wal-Muslimeen Seyyed Fazel Milani Passes Away

Hujjat-al-Islam-Wal-Muslimeen Seyyed Fazel Milani, a prominent Shia cleric residing in England, passed away on Monday morning, September 2, coinciding with 28 Safar. He was born in 1944 in the holy city of Karbala.

The late Seyyed Milani served as the president of the International College of Islamic Studies in England and was a professor of Islamic law and philosophy at the Islamic College in London. He was also the director of the Ayatollah Al-Uzma Khoei Foundation and a jurisprudence professor at the University of Cambridge.

His most well-known work, “Muhaḍarāt fi Fiqh al-Imāmiyya,” is regarded as a significant contribution to Islamic scholarship. In addition to this, he authored over 15 other books on various religious and theological topics in Arabic, English, and Persian.
