New Zealand: Auckland Islamic Centre Under Construction

Construction is underway on the Islamic Centre in Auckland, New Zealand.

The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and President of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, inspected the first phase of the centre’s construction.

The facility will include a mosque, halls for Quran memorization, conference rooms including a space dedicated to interfaith dialogue, and areas for Islamic and national events. The centre aims to support efforts promoting coexistence, social cohesion, peace and harmony in accordance with Islamic values.
