Who Is Hussain? Charity Organization Expands Global Humanitarian Activities Through Blood Donations, Food Aid, Community Support

Volunteers and activists from the international charity organization “Who Is Hussain?” have carried out a series of humanitarian initiatives around the world, including blood donation campaigns, food distribution for vulnerable communities, providing drinking water, and educational support for children in need.

Inspired by the values of sacrifice, compassion, and service associated with Imam Hussein, the organization’s volunteers continue to promote humanitarian action by supporting disadvantaged communities, helping save lives, and spreading messages of kindness and solidarity across different societies.

According to the organization’s recent updates, volunteers in Bengaluru, India, launched the fourth annual “Hope Vehicle” campaign, displaying messages and teachings attributed to Imam Hussein on auto-rickshaws to share his values of justice and compassion with the public.

In Hyderabad, volunteers distributed 100 hot meals to patients’ families and people in need outside a specialized cancer hospital. Meanwhile, free drinking water stations were established in Alipur, India, to serve passersby.

The organization’s humanitarian efforts have also extended to Europe. In Paris, volunteers distributed fruits and sweets to people in need while wearing jackets displaying the group’s humanitarian message. The French branch, in cooperation with the country’s national blood service (EFS), also organized its 14th blood donation campaign, during which 46 people donated blood, including 23 first-time donors. The collected donations are expected to help save the lives of more than 138 patients.

French volunteers have also been providing daily educational support for nearly a month at a social support center, teaching children basic literacy and mathematics while providing breakfast.

In the United Kingdom, the London team distributed hot meals to 136 people in need as part of its weekly food assistance program. In Uganda, volunteers visited the Bilal Girls’ Orphanage, organizing activities for 60 orphaned children, including games, stationery donations, and treats.

In Mumbai, India, volunteers collected 37 units of blood through an annual donation campaign, helping support treatment for approximately 111 patients. In Michigan, United States, volunteers have expanded blood donation initiatives as well as food drives and school backpack campaigns for students from disadvantaged families.

Founded as a non-governmental, non-profit international organization, Who Is Hussain? operates through more than 60 branches worldwide. The organization aims to promote humanitarian values inspired by the life and message of Imam Hussein through charitable initiatives that support people in need regardless of race, religion, or background.
